I helped run a Hackathon for non-profits last December. Sometimes these things take time, but the app we started for the National Military Families Association just launched!
Here’s a quick description of the project:
Through research and experience, our Association knows that military families often face challenges with finding employment, completing their education or managing the deployment process of a loved one. Many times these military families feel overwhelmed and isolated as they try to sift through the bureaucracy of support and good intentions put in place to help them. To help alleviate this burden, the National Family Association created MyMilitaryLife so families have one central resource that connects them with solutions or preventative programs that are local and customized to their current situation.
