AMAZING CORE CREW

Stephen Peters
Coming out of Carnegie Mellon with a degree in Policy and Management, Stephen Peters used his technical skills to become Webmaster for Network Computing Devices, Inc., and then Senior Technologist for the Portland office of the advertising company CKS|Partners, Inc. (which later became USWeb/CKS, and then marchFirst) before leaving to lead his own company full-time. Steve's role in the process is that of project and technology manager. It's his job to make sure the tools and the people skills are there to turn the vision into reality. "I particularly enjoy the challenges of working one-on-one with a client. Guiding a project from a vague idea to concrete reality and seeing the client's excitement is the best part of this business." While in the corporate world Steve worked on Web site projects for the likes of NCD, Mitsubishi, Portland General Electric and Widmer Brewing among others. Whenever he can, Steve prefers to be outside snowboarding, hiking or cycling.

Ross Olson
Ross Olson is a producer and project manager. As a graphic artist and web developer he has lead the drive to develop web-based tools at many local companies and organizations since 1994. His previous experience includes work for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Nikon, PGE, PacifiCorp, Fred Meyer, Oregon Public Broadcasting and more. He teaches and lectures at universities and professional organizations and writes articles about the Internet and web technologies. He creates wireless publishing systems in his spare time.

Duc Le
Duc Le contributes his skills at Amazing as a web interface designer. Duc had his start in the early days of multi-media designing interfaces for CD-ROM applications. The limitations of this media combined with Duc's skill sets in the print medium and HTML has molded him into a developer of solid design in the multi-versioned, multi-browsered world wide web. Past projects have been fulfilled for high-tech companies such as Intel, CFI Pro Services and Chrome Data Corporation. Development has also been completed for PR and Advertising agencies the likes of Cole & Weber, Elvis & Bonaparte and Grady Britton.

Katherine Davenport
With a degree in Ecology from Vassar, Katherine Davenport had a whole different life as a professional Conservationist with the USDA. However, after several years of designing management plans for land owners, and county or district wide projects, she decided on a radical career change and returned to school where she acquired a series of degrees in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Printing Technology, and Journalism. This led her eventually to a position as the Graphic Designer for the Multnomah County Libraries, the largest local library system in Oregon, where she did design, production and project management. And where she was made lead worker for the design, production, and distribution of all library printed materials. In 1996 Katherine left the library to work as an independent contractor and expand from print into web design work and concurrent web/print projects. As an independent contractor Katherine has worked with and for a variety of different government agencies, non-profits and local businesses. Away from work, if one is ever truly away from work, Katherine enjoys reading, gardening, sewing, reading, genealogy and, of course, reading.
