Rediscovering Biology is a multi-million dollar educational project on Biology, produced by Oregon Public Broadcasting for the Annenberg/CPB Foundation (http://www.learner.org). This project includes a 13-part video series, an online textbook and case studies, and an extensive Web site.
Rediscovering Biology brings America's high school biology teachers up to speed on the latest developments in the field. Designed as a professional development content series for in-service high school biology teachers, the materials are an in-depth exploration of:
- How our understanding of biology has changed in the past 5-10 years,
- What advances have made those changes, and
- How those changes impact our perception of the world around us.
For this project Amazing provided a wide array of services including:
- Creative direction and graphic design for Web, Interactive, Print, Video and Animation
- Flash interactive development
- page layout for the textbook and activities
- 2D and 3D computer animation for broadcast video and the Web
