AMAZING MISSIONS -Portland State University
Successful student assessment software may be the key for states to ensure Federal funding for students in the future. Built for Portland State University, Amazing's Extended CLRAS (Career and Life Role Assessment System) enables Oregon's primary and secondary teachers to evaluate all special education students' year-to-year improvements. Funding for this project is provided by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) through Portland State University.
Previously; when Oregon teachers went to assess their special education students, they had to wrangle through a stack of 400 potential pages of paper forms per student and a long turn-around time to get the results. What do teachers gain by moving this system to the Web?
A simpler system to deal with - XCLRAS chooses which forms the teachers need
Immediate results available for printing or downloading via PDF
Track the student from elementary through post-secondary schooling
What does the Oregon Department of Education get out of this?
Integration with the other ODE online assessments
Faster reporting for Federal requirements
Best of all, the new system helps the parents and students by making it easier to track the student's progress over time.
XCLRAS is built to capture data for at least 10,000 students, and hold at least 200,000 assessments over the next five years.
This new system positions Oregon at the forefront of the student assessment software industry for special education students and proves a valuable example for teachers in other states. Amazing is proud to contribute to the education and well-being of Oregon students.
The XCLRAS system is not available to the public. Please call if you'd like to arrange a demo.
